Application For Service
If you are a new resident of the Southern Madison Water District, we will be pleased to provide you with quality water service. You will need to fill out an application and bring it in with a valid driver’s license or a picture ID.
To start the application process for new service you will need to complete the application form (download here) and come by our office to present your valid drivers license or valid government ID.
The fees for new water accounts are listed below. Further information is on our rates page and the payment page.
Activation: $30
Deposit: $50
Installation of new line: $700+ (depending on the size of the meter)
Existing Customers
If you are an existing customer moving within the water district area there is a $30 transfer fee to switch services. An updated application will need to be completed.
